Hippocampus Guide Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds
Ni No Kuni is an MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) launched by Netmarble Inc. It was then published by Level 5, the original creators of the Ni No Kuni Franchise, on May 27th. Since its release, the game has seen a massive increase in the player base. Like the other titles in the Ni No Kuni series, the cross worlds also feature two distinct worlds, the “Real-world” and the “Fantasy worlds”, where players will spend most of their time.
Introduction to Familiars
Familiars in the world of Ni No Kuni Crossworlds are guardian spirits who help you when fighting monsters or other players. They support you through active and passive skills, which can be huge on the battlefield. You can only equip 3 familiars at a time, so you must choose the strongest ones available in your arsenal.
Familiars are also a great source of CP (Character Power), so we recommend you upgrade them and try to get 4-star familiars as soon as possible in the game.
The Hippocampus in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds
Hippocampus in the game Ni No Kuni is an attack-type water element familiar, so he gets extra damage and advantage when fighting earth-type monsters. Hippocampus Skills
Hippocampus’s Heart: All elemental damage increases proportionally to the number of water familiars equipped. This passive comes into effect when the Hippocampus is equipped in the familiar slot and increases damage by 1% for each water familiar equipped.
Waterspout: This is the active skill of the Hippocampus, and when used, Hippocampus summons a waterspout to attack the enemy. Enemies inside the waterspout are silenced, and the waterspout deals 74% of ATK as damage per hit and silences them for 3 seconds. (Silence in the game is a potent skill which disables your enemies from using any skill).
Torrent: This is the second active skill of the Hippocampus; when used, it summons a mighty torrent which pulls enemy familiars towards the centre of the attack. Torrent deals 74% of ATK as AoE damage per hit to the enemies. Pulls enemies towards the centre, and damage against enemies who are frostbitten increases further by 25%.
