The Deck System in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds
Here we will learn how to use The Deck System and gain the maximum damage against a certain type of elemental monster. To maximize your efficiency on decks, you first need to understand how the elemental system works in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds. Each weapon in your weapon slot adds extra damage while you fight, and if they are of the same elemental type, the elemental attack bonus damage increases drastically.
Elemental Advantage for Deck System
Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds offers players to take advantage of the element types to gain extra 50% damage on monsters in the game. Knowing which element to play against certain monsters will give you an edge on the battlefield. Currently, the game has 5 elements,
The Five Elements in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds:
- FIRE
- WATER
- EARTH
- DARK
- LIGHT
Fire counters Earth but is weak against Water, Earth counters Water but is weak against Fire, and Water counters Fire but is weak against Earth. While Dark and Light only counter each other.
So if you are facing a Fire element monster, we recommend Water-type weapons. When facing an Earth-type monster, we recommend you to use Fire-type weapons, and if you fight a water monster, use an Earth-type weapon to gain the upper hand.
(TIP: You can see the monster’s element type right beside their HP bar while engaging in battle.)

How To Build Deck In Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds?
Now that you know all about the elemental advantage in Ni No Kuni, let us start with how you can build decks. Follow the steps given below,
Steps to Build Decks
- Click on the Deck icon (It is located on the right-hand bottom side of your screen, usually a number)
- Then Choose which number you want your decks to be in. (We recommend you follow our instructions)
You can choose any number you want your different DeckDeck to be in, but we recommend you to follow us for maximum efficiency.
Deck 1– Keep it as an all-rounder deck and have each element (Fire, Water, Earth) type of weapon (preferably the strongest in each element type). This Deck is the Deck that you will use to clear the storyline or the game’s main quests.
Deck 2- For the Second Deck, we recommend you to keep all fire-type weapons and fire-type familiars as you will be using this Deck while fighting earth-type monsters or field booses who are earth-type. This DeckDeck will work best if you have a primary 4-star fire weapon and sub-weapons of at least 3 stars each, as the fire damage from this will be massive against earth-type monsters.
Deck 3- You should be going with a Water-type deck for the Third Deck. Equip all your water-type weapons and water element familiars to get all the bonus damage while fighting against fire element monsters or even the world boss Ardor himself. Again we recommend you keep a 4-star weapon as the main and at least 3-star sub-weapons for the maximum damage output against fire-type monsters.
Deck 4- In deck-4, we recommend you to use all the Earth-type weapons and familiars as you will be using this DeckDeck to fight water monsters and field bosses. Once again, we recommend you equip a 4-star main weapon in earth type and 3-star off-hand weapons for the maximum bonus damage while fighting water monsters.
Deck 5 & Deck 6– We recommend you build Light type and Dark-type weapon combos in these decks. But we know it is very hard to get 4-star light or dark weapons, so we recommend you to upgrade a 3-star to 4 stars and use it with other element weapons for maximum CP.
With the rest of the decks, you may experiment around as you get stronger weapons and equipment, and don’t forget to use the perfect DeckDeck while fighting monsters for maximum damage!
